This bout marks the beginning of the 2008 WFTDA National Championship Tournament, the Northwest Knockdown
in Portland, Oregon. The tournament is jointly hosted by Portland's Rose City Rollers and
Seattle's Rat City Rollergirls.
In this first quarter-final of the tournament the Western first seed team,
Texas Rollergirls meets the Eastern fourth seeded
Carolina Rollergirls. The winner advances to the semi-final
round. The looser gets down at the after parties.
